I wanted to do some sort of challenge this year to get me to use my camera more when I am not on a shoot… my kids are older, so they don’t LOVE me taking their picture every three seconds anymore (sniff sniff)… so I failed MISERABLY at the once a week challenge I started– I think I made it through the first 3 weeks. So, I am trying this once a day challenge at I heart Faces. Love their website. So… Day one assignment: ME. Used my timer and my awesome natural light on my bed. Then I kept my camera out and captured some pics of my kids doing their homework and jumping from the poles of my bed! Pretty fun! ENJOY
Welcome to my
Blogsite!
I had so much fun capturing these four families for a little mini-Valentine’s Day shoot last week. We were rained out twice and then I had to go out of town… but better late than never, right? LOVE… Enjoy:
…. Will do more on the next post!No comments
My sweet Ella-Bella… She wanted to do a session with me without her brother– and shockingly, Ryan didn’t mind!
So… off we went an hour before sunset to see what we could get. Unfortunately, the balloon popped about two minutes into our shoot, which made her very sad…. but we recovered quickly and got some of my favorite shots of her. She really is a lover… and such an empathetic and thoughtful little six year old. ENJOY:

You have probably already seen these on Facebook, but I had to share for my non-Facebook using crowd. This is one of my favorite, favorite families to photograph. With three kids, it could be complete chaos– but it never is. They are such loving, amazing people. I hope I’ll be photographing them until their twins go off to college! : ) ENJOY!
And I LOVE when I can convince a couple to take a picture alone without the kids… (Or in this case I think they might have even asked)… it’s where the family begins– and you can’t forget that!
