Elisa & Nathan still need our help. It’s been over two years and we can’t forget that they need us. I took this photo last week from my plane and I was sadly leaving them in Brooklyn. Today is their birthday. SEVEN. YEARS. OLD. I honestly don’t know how that is possible… which is really what every mom says as her kids age. But it’s true. Every year is more fun… and six was no exception. The reading and writing and intelligent conversations… all while the love they have for each other is so strong and amazing. They still sleep in the same room– and in the same bed. We’ve tried twin beds, but they ended up sneaking back together into one. We’ve tried a King Bed, but they end up sleeping in the “spoon” position anyway. So now we have their twin beds pushed together to at least try to pretend they have their own beds. There is something truly special about twins… and I can’t wait to see what the next seven years brings them.

Unicorns & Bluebonnets… perfect combination! {Frisco Child Photographer}

I have been doing these UNICORN SESSIONS for a few years now…. and then I had the idea of doing them in the bluebonnets— which probably sounds a bit insane, however, I REALLY wanted to do it. And guess what? It worked out perfectly. Lark is a tiny little pony who is very sweet and easy-going… he doesn’t mind little hands on him and stands fairly still even in a really windy field. It was perfect. And I think this little girlie’s mommy would agree! ENJOY:

I love photographing newborns. Especially squishy little ones like Henry. He was a perfect model and so were his beautiful parents. He also had a bodyguard watching over him (see below!)…ENJOYhref=”http://www.betsymariephotography.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/henry_newborn_web-70.jpg”>

My kids reading makes me very happy. . . especially this guy who is such a perfectionist he refused to try because he knew some words would be wrong. But with the help of an awesome teacher and a very sweet tutor, his confidence is up and he’s doing AWESOME!
