Levi {Frisco Family Photographer}

Levi was a dream subject… laughed at all my silly moves, looked directly at my camera, loved all my fun hats… and didn’t mind changing his clothes outside (despite the frigid temps)!  We did a FULL session– like three-outfit-changes kind of session– in 35 minutes flat!  Most two year olds will give me about 45-60 minutes before they have had it– so we were rolling along hoping to maximize the “happy” time!  We pulled out the lollipop just for fun (not as a bribe like it is usually used as!)… he looked at it, licked it and then slammed it down on the ground.  And didn’t cry!!!  What a trooper!  I hope his mom & dad enjoy this preview– I had a fun time with you all!

Sweet Storyboards…

Everyone should have one of these in their homes…. such sweet memories.  Enough said!  ENJOY:kids3togetherproof

Somehow I missed this cutie…

I think it was the rush of the Haiti Valentine’s Day project… (will post the total we made soon!)… but I forgot to put these cute pics up on my blog!  This little sweetie was in town visiting her cousins and I got to spend a bit of time with her!  She wasn’t so sure about me… but her mama could make her smile!

Lucy {Frisco Baby Photographer}

I photographed this blue-eyed beauty as a newborn and had THE best time… and we had another great time doing her six month photos.  She is a doll…. super sweet– and although she wasn’t as smiley as she normally is (when there isn’t a gigantic camera and a stranger in her face), she still looked so adorable and innocent and beautiful.  I hope her Mommy, Daddy and Grandma agree!  I could have taken pictures of her all day long, but alas… she had to nap.  I want Lucy’s mom to decorate my house– love everything about it–  so fun and colorful—and I loved using some of her furniture as props.  (Remember the baby on the turquoise table… that was Lucy!)

8 Days New… {Austin Newborn Photographer}

I LOVE photographing newborns– especially when they are my nephew!  If you have not seen the pictures of his birth from last weekend, scroll down… but these are pretty special too!  :)  I flew down to Austin yesterday morning, took pictures and then drove back home with my father-in-law… so it was a long day, but WELL worth it!!  You only have about 10 days to get pictures like this so I couldn’t miss that chance.  I know his Mama & Papa will be happy it worked out!  :)

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

You didn’t think I could go without making a Valentine’s Day card out of my two sweethearts, did you?   Here they are… love them to pieces!

Happy Birthday to my mom today!!!!  Her mom tried to hold out until the 14th, but she just couldn’t wait!  Love you, Mom!

Snow Bunny!

You just have to love this girl… one of the easiest I’ve ever photographed… and she’s only three!  Usually when I get to know a child as well as I know Ava, they start to ignore me and treat me like your children probably treat you when you have a camera in their face– but not this one.  Thank goodness– because I love so many images of her that it would break my heart.  The snow is melting…. and now we have slush.  Yuck!

Snow in Texas!!

This isn’t the first snowfall this year for us– but it is the first time we’ve been able to take advantage of it!!   With not one thing planned for today (which is SUPER rare), we have already been out in it three times– made two snowmen (1st one was knocked down by some middle school boys after we went inside– I could only see their backs!), made a fort, went sledding, made snow angels and had a snow ball fight!  Phew… They are begging to go back out, but I am making them “rest” and dethaw for an hour… so here are a few of my favorite shots from today!

(yes… she has socks on her hands… so did I– no gloves in Texas, right?)

Triple the fun….. and triple the tears?

No!!!  One year olds are one of the hardest ages to photograph– simply because they are usually a tad afraid of strangers AND… they don’t take bribes!!  So– with triplets, there is very likely going to be at least one who doesn’t want to participate.

Mama didn’t think we got ANY cute shots (because of a little stranger anxiety, a little bit of cold wind and a lot of time indoors this winter)… but I’m here to prove her wrong!  I already sent her one family shot on facebook just to ease her fears… but here are some more!  We didn’t get a whole lot of the three kids together without their parents, so we’re doing a mini-reshoot inside next week!  I’m sure we’ll have better luck!  How cute are they though?  Almost one– and so much fun!  I was SO impressed with the way these parents kept their cool– even with all the tears and frustration of not being able to take some of the pictures we wanted.  These are some lucky kids!
