Happy Thanksgiving… {& William}

I hope you all have a wonderful day with your families!!  We are pretty excited to be spending time with my parents!  Thank you to all of my “Christmas Clients” for being so patient with the madness that has been swirling around me.  Anyone who has not received their holiday card proofs should expect them very soon (but probably not tomorrow!)  :)

This was my very last holiday session (an amazing family from New Jersey who knew they were visiting Dallas over Thanksgiving–and picked me to photograph their little sweetie– so honored)… ANYWAY…as I was downloading his pictures just now, I decided this one had to be on my blog right away!  I am sure they are checking!  :)

{Maren}

I photographed this little girl for a product shoot I did about a year ago… and finally got to have a session with just her.  I got into a car accident (with myself and a curb) on the way to their session… (nobody was hurt– just my poor car)– and her parents were SO understanding and sweet (even offering to come pick me up)… but we finally made it happen and I had forgotten how stunning little M is– beautiful dark hair and spectacular eyes.  Such a sweetie… here are just a few for her Mommy & Daddy to see before I give them their full album.  I’m working on overdrive trying to get everyone their pictures… They are coming! :)

Holiday Card Pick-up!

If you ordered your holiday cards prior to Sunday, they will be available for you to pick up on Tuesday or Wednesday.  Please contact me via email or cell phone to schedule a pickup!

Thanks!  (No picture– too busy!)  :)

Quads and triplets…and more quads and more triplets!

Yes… I’m busy… but not as busy as these parents!  I don’t have time to give them each a post, so I’ll put one or two up for each of them!  All adorable kids– and all awesome parents.  People always ask me how I do it with twins– and really it’s not that hard– but having triplets and quads is a whole other story!  Great job guys!  Just to get everyone ready, on-time and looking put together is a victory in itself– but to get them all to look at me (and sometimes smile)– that’s amazing!  I definitely rely on the parents to help during these sessions– and all of them did!  Thanks!!!

(These first quads you have seen since they were itty bitty babies…. so big now– but still so cute:)

blog3blog7This was the first time photographing these three year old quads… but hopefully not the last.  They were awesome!!!misty-17For their 3rd birthday party last week, they all wore these adorable tutu dresses.  They twirled and bowed and danced for me– and in EVERY single shot, one of them is twirling the wrong way!  Cracks me up… but it is real life, right?

blog-1-2Here are some triplets who I have never photographed before… so sweet– and so cute.  They did a great job too!:

misty-17-31blog-1This one makes me laugh out loud:blog-1-21And finally… you’ve seen these triplets MANY times before… Still cute– and still very independent!  :)  We got a few family shots– but mostly got individual pictures of them that are adorable:

misty-17-2tripsI did three of these four sessions all in a row… the other people in the park asked me if I specialized in Quads and Triplets… I guess I do!  :)

Need a great holiday gift?

Well… you are in luck!  I am offering a “Black Friday” special… if you order a voucher from me before December 4th you get $50 off the session fee!  So you can decide if you want to do the “weekend” fee (normally $200, would be $150 for you) or the “weekday” fee (normally $150, so $100 for you).  For the holidays, I am also including a 5×7 along with the session for the lucky person you buy this for!

After December 4th, the prices will go back to normal… so get on it!   Please email me if you want one and I can send you a paypal bill to pay on-line, or you can mail me a check.  Thanks!

Here is what they will get (in a box with a pretty bow!):

{Madi-cakes} 6 months and Holiday Session

You all know this little sweetie… her mom got a package for maternity, newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and one year pictures!!  So… we get to see Madi a lot!  :)  She just keeps getting cuter and cuter… and just WAIT until you see what we have in store for their holiday card!  :)

{Hayden}

This little guy was so much fun.  It was quite warm for fall in Dallas– so we had to be quick with the sweater and vest shots– but he seemed perfectly happy and not too hot.  The best shots I got of him were when he was peacefully eating his cracker sitting on the bridge in silence– nobody was trying to get him to look my way– nobody was saying anything… he was just babbling and giggling… Love that.   He also “kind of” liked my lollipop— and he “kind of” didn’t want to give it back to his parents when they wanted to load him up in the car!  :)

{Cole}

This little cutie is part of the “Grow with Me” package… and this is his 2nd of three photo sessions during his first year of life (remember him from his newborn shots?)… He’s sitting up pretty well– and the most mellow, sweet little guy I’ve been around in a long time!  He let his Mama put on at least three different outfits and many different hats!  I hope next time we get to incorporate some puppies in the picture!  :)

Strasbourg models?

Actually… yes, they are!  :)  These little girls are the COVER models for the new Strasbourg Children’s Clothing Magazine (pick one up at their stores!)…. but this time the clothes were their own (even though they were actually from Strasbourg) and they were there to get their holiday cards made!  The little one wasn’t feeling 100%, but we rocked it anyway!  :)  How cute are they?  Those lips…..

J-crew models?

No…. but they SHOULD be!!!   After six straight sessions of kids 4 and younger…these three were quite easy!  :)  I would say, “Look at me”… and they would!  And… then I’d say, “Don’t smile” and they wouldn’t.  This age is always hard to get a natural smile because I can’t jump around and act like a fool to create them— so I just have to work on it with them.  They all did a fantastic job.  I have some ideas for a future shoot with them– need to talk to their mom about that!
