Happy Birthday, Lucy! {Frisco baby photographer}

I’m sure you all remember Lucy as a newborn… she is the one who slept the entire time and gave me a taste of what is possible in the world of newborns when they cooperate!  Well… Lucy just turned one!  I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her many times along this year-long journey and it’s been a ball!  She is adorable… and her mommy has been hoping for some photos with actual smiles for a long time… and I guess she just wanted to wait until she was one to make them even more special, because we got a lot of smiles!  (Thanks mostly to her daddy!… I can’t take the credit this time).

Delaney, Lauren & Olivia… {DFW family photographer in Michigan}

These three girls were SOOO easy… even little Livi.  She just followed her two older sisters’ lead.  It was adorable.  There was a storm coming, so we rushed to get these pictures in and then the storm went somewhere else, so we got to hang out more!  My kids LOVED these girls… they played games they have never played before and are still asking with they are coming back!

I’ve known their Mommy (and Daddy!) forever…. it’s so much fun photographing kids of parents I grew up with!  I need to come back to Michigan more often because I really love and miss all these friends!  OR… you could come visit us in Texas– and I’d probably take a few pictures for you!  :)

I hope you love this preview!  Great seeing you all!

PS… I will not be responding to emails until I return to Texas (August 8th)… so please call my cell phone if it is urgent!  I’ll update my blog if we have an internet connection!

Michigan Sessions…

July 25, 2010 – 10:00 am

I have had a bunch mini-sessions and a few full sessions, so I’ll try to post a few from each over the next couple days!  We are heading to another cottage on Lake Michigan on Wednesday, where I won’t have internet or a computer… so there won’t be too much work going on then (except for taking pics for a few people– and of course, capturing my two four year olds enjoying my favorite spot on earth!)

My mini-session in August back in Texas is completely full.  I will not be having any more mini sessions before the holiday minis I always offer, so if you are interested in photos, but don’t need a full session I would suggest getting your friends together for a “playdate” session!  I’ve done quite a few of them in the past year and they are always a blast and always result in awesome photos!

Anyway… here are some shots of some cute kids who came my way last week!  Their eyes and their smiles… so adorable!

Mini in August!

Mark your calendar and send me an email ASAP… I am having a summer-mini-session on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18th in the Frisco/Plano area.  It will be quick and easy and we’ll get a few shots to add to your walls!

Details:  White or Blue tile background with barnyard flooring (see pic of white example below)

3 child maximum… (you quad mommies can call me and we can talk about an alternative)

Would be awesome for a maternity session if you just want to capture that moment in time!

10-15 minutes, $100– includes an 8X10.  All other prints are a la carte!

New postcard out…

And… you can take advantage!  Do you have an OB/GYN who would be willing to put my new, awesome postcards in their “New Mommy” package that they either give their patients right after they discover they are pregnant?  Don’t know?  Ask!  :)  What about putting some on display in your child’s pediatricians office?  If you help me out, you could get your next session fee waived and also get a few FREE prints!  Let me know!  I have a few things already in the works– so if you go to Centennial Peds it is already taken care of– and big things coming!  :)  Also, this is obviously for my DFW readers!  :)

Parker… part II {Frisco Newborn Photography}

Parker– 5 days new {Frisco Newborn Photographer}

This little boy was born on May 5th– what a fun birthday he will always have… and he is adorable!   We had the 1st half of our session yesterday (with the rest of his family) and tomorrow we are going to try for some more “alone” shots.   He is one lucky little guy to have a sweet big sister and some awesome parents.

I ♥ faces… Celebrating Moms!

It’s been forever since I submitted a picture to this website, but as soon as I read the challenge I thought of this photo of a mama with her first newborn baby (who happens to be my adorable nephew)… doesn’t get much sweeter!  I hope she had an amazing 1st Mother’s Day (but I already know she did!).  :)

Vasco {Frisco Newborn Photographer}

This little guy is five days old… and as sweet as they come!  He was zonked out when I arrived, but after about 30 minutes he decided he was starving and then ate about 5-6 oz before I left two hours later!  He is a growing boy– maybe to try to catch up with his adorable (almost)-five year old brother!  When Dante got home from school and saw a blanket in his toy-truck, he immediately asked me why that was there… and when I told him I took a picture of his baby brother in it he laughed hysterically.  I hope he likes it!

My babies are four… {Frisco Family Photographer}

…and I can’t for the life of me figure out where those four years went.   After years and years (which felt like an eternity) of hoping and praying for one baby- we were blessed with two healthy babies, who turned into two amazing toddlers… who suddenly turned into the two most wonderful and sweet children— all in a BLINK of an eye.

Ella & Ryan… you are both my sunshine and I love you more than you’ll ever know.   Please keep laughing and loving the way that you do.  I wouldn’t change a thing about you!
