Big ole belly… {Frisco Maternity Photographer}

Or in this case… little ole belly!  This beauty was 35 weeks pregnant in these shots… and I swear she looked like she was about 28.  She has been on bedrest, so I fully expected her to be much larger since she wasn’t able to be up and about.  Boy, was I wrong!  (In the first two shots, I had to tell her to stick her belly out a bit so she looked MORE pregnant!!) We couldn’t get too creative with locations since she’s not allowed to leave her house, so we just made it work!  Hope you love… and I can’t wait to photograph like Jackson!

Delaney, Lauren & Olivia… {DFW family photographer in Michigan}

These three girls were SOOO easy… even little Livi.  She just followed her two older sisters’ lead.  It was adorable.  There was a storm coming, so we rushed to get these pictures in and then the storm went somewhere else, so we got to hang out more!  My kids LOVED these girls… they played games they have never played before and are still asking with they are coming back!

I’ve known their Mommy (and Daddy!) forever…. it’s so much fun photographing kids of parents I grew up with!  I need to come back to Michigan more often because I really love and miss all these friends!  OR… you could come visit us in Texas– and I’d probably take a few pictures for you!  :)

I hope you love this preview!  Great seeing you all!

PS… I will not be responding to emails until I return to Texas (August 8th)… so please call my cell phone if it is urgent!  I’ll update my blog if we have an internet connection!

I heart faces… purple contest!

I couldn’t resist entering this photo of this purple beauty who is pregnant with twins (photographed two weeks ago in Chicago) into the “I heart faces” contest!  What is more beautiful than a pregnant woman who is glowing– inside and out?!  And to be having two boys!  How exciting!

Molly {+2 baby boys}… {Dallas Maternity Photographer}

We had a beautiful morning for this very special photo shoot.  The Mama-to-be is my cousin, Molly…. we grew up in the same town and shared so many fun things together growing up!   It’s so amazing that she is pregnant– and even more so that she is also having twins.  Two boys!  How fun will this house be?  And… how beautiful is this lady?

Mini in August!

Mark your calendar and send me an email ASAP… I am having a summer-mini-session on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18th in the Frisco/Plano area.  It will be quick and easy and we’ll get a few shots to add to your walls!

Details:  White or Blue tile background with barnyard flooring (see pic of white example below)

3 child maximum… (you quad mommies can call me and we can talk about an alternative)

Would be awesome for a maternity session if you just want to capture that moment in time!

10-15 minutes, $100– includes an 8X10.  All other prints are a la carte!

New postcard out…

And… you can take advantage!  Do you have an OB/GYN who would be willing to put my new, awesome postcards in their “New Mommy” package that they either give their patients right after they discover they are pregnant?  Don’t know?  Ask!  :)  What about putting some on display in your child’s pediatricians office?  If you help me out, you could get your next session fee waived and also get a few FREE prints!  Let me know!  I have a few things already in the works– so if you go to Centennial Peds it is already taken care of– and big things coming!  :)  Also, this is obviously for my DFW readers!  :)

Hot Mama… {Frisco Maternity Photographer}

Can’t wait to meet this little guy next week…. He’s scheduled to be born on Wednesday!!  Hang in there, Christy!

And… to all the patient people waiting for their photos— they are coming!  I’m working in every free second I have to get albums out to everyone this week!  Now that the bluebonnets are gone and things have died down a tiny bit, I should be able to get caught up!  I appreciate all of the offers for people to help watch my kids and do my laundry (oh wait… nobody has offered that), but I’m figuring it out!  Soon!  Promise!

Bye-Bye Bluebonnets…

See you next year!  I am d.o.n.e.  :)  Well… besides the editing and possibly a few makeups from some rain and illnesses… but for the most part, I’m done!  I love them, but my allergies are driving me insane this year– and I’m needing a break from rolling around the flowers with so many cute kids!

What a difference a year makes…

I took the first picture of my dear friend, Kathryn, when she was about 9 months pregnant.  She was the very last session of the bluebonnets… the sun was setting and the light was GORGEOUS– and so was she!  One of the most beautiful pregnant women I’ve ever seen…

Fast forward a year…. and here is what we have… a gorgeous mama, a gorgeous baby and a beautiful sunny day!  I might have to drag them back out there at sunset sometime this week to try to get the exact picture– but you get the idea!

Love them.
