My name is Betsy Prieto and I am a custom photographer in the Dallas, Texas area. I specialize in photographing kids of all ages-- from babies who are not even born yet to teenagers. I have two beautiful children of my own-- and you'll see them here sometimes (when they are not running from my camera). Photography has become my passion-- and I hope you can see that in my work. Happy 10th Anniversary….

…To my awesome husband!   It really seems like it was a year or two ago that we had our Nashville wedding.  The memories of the wedding weekend are still so fresh in my mind.  It was an INSANELY fun wedding– with everything exactly how we imagined it.  Sort of like our marriage!

Ava-Bava {Frisco Child Photographer}

This girl….  I mean, really?  I could eat her up.  She is one of the funniest, smartest, most gorgeous girls I know… and she’s only four.  :)  I don’t think any other four year old (besides my own) crack me up as much as she does.

Madi {Frisco Baby Photographer}

Besides my own daughter…. I would have to say that this little angel is like my muse.  I love taking pictures of her (even when she is a tiny-bit cranky like she was the night I took this…)  This might be my favorite picture that I’ve taken of Madi yet… and I’ve taken a lot!

Here are my available dates for the fall as of today.  Please email me with your 1st & 2nd choices and I’ll email you back with a confirmation.  All deposits can be sent via paypal (betsy@betsymariephotography.com) and must be received within 2-3 business days to confirm your spot!

This year there will be a minimum card order of 75 cards.  Flat, folded or tri-fold.  You do not have to order cards, but if you do want them (and have me draw up a proof for you) the minimum is 75.

I’m attempting to have all the sessions in October and early November so I can have all proofs back to you before Thanksgiving.  I tried this last year, but all the rain we had put a wrench in my plans…. so we’ll try again!

Any photos I have taken over the year can also be made into a card.  Please put in your card request before Thanksgiving so I can get it ready for you to proof and send out early!

So…. my cousins brought all of their kids over for a cookout and to spend some time together back in JULY while we were in Michigan.  I promised them pictures on my blog shortly after… and somehow I forgot!  SO SORRY!  I edited them, had them ready to go and then just never did it.  (This kind of thing would only happen to family members!)  :)  So… these cousins are my cousins’ kids!  They are so cute and fun and my twins had the best time when they were there!

Aunt C, Kelly, Danny & Billy … so sorry!  But I hope you like!  :)

    Good genes! I love lovely family pictures. My grandfather was a studio photographer, which meant that there were never pictures of his family or his kids. It’s the old saying that a cobbler’s kids never have shoes, or something like that. So, it’s so fun to see pics of your family too. (And, the Cabbage Patch Doll pic is too funny).

Mini-Mini Sessions… {Frisco Child Photographer}

I had a great time with all these kids at my summer mini-session!  It was darn HOT (I’m talking 105 in the shade…) so they were all troopers!  I, on the other hand, looked like I jumped in a lake by the end!  Sorry to those who came later and had to witness that!  :)  I got some great shots of everyone… and even got the quads to all look at me and smile (AT THE SAME TIME!)….   It was fun to have some new clients join in on one of these crazy mini-sessions!!  I don’t think the moms knew what they were in for!  :)

ENJOY and the proofs will be ready for you all in a few weeks (after I catch up on summer sessions from my trip!)…. phew… better get busy!

One more thing:  There are only three spots left in the fall/holiday mini sessions… and right now, I am not going to add anymore!  So– anyone who has contacted me asking about them better book soon!

Baby Austin {Frisco Baby Photographer}

Impromptu photo session tonight while babysitting our nephew ended up with a ton of cute ones… but these two were my favorites (this is my new, awesome backdrop that you’ll be seeing a lot of because I just did a mini-session using it… it’s blue one one side and white on the other)… along with my cool wood floor!  Mini-session people:  I’ll post some tomorrow!

How cute is this guy?  Do you remember the pictures I took at his birth?  Now he’s sitting up and I’m pretty certain about to crawl (sorry, Christina!)

Big ole belly… {Frisco Maternity Photographer}

Or in this case… little ole belly!  This beauty was 35 weeks pregnant in these shots… and I swear she looked like she was about 28.  She has been on bedrest, so I fully expected her to be much larger since she wasn’t able to be up and about.  Boy, was I wrong!  (In the first two shots, I had to tell her to stick her belly out a bit so she looked MORE pregnant!!) We couldn’t get too creative with locations since she’s not allowed to leave her house, so we just made it work!  Hope you love… and I can’t wait to photograph like Jackson!

Happy Birthday, Lucy! {Frisco baby photographer}

I’m sure you all remember Lucy as a newborn… she is the one who slept the entire time and gave me a taste of what is possible in the world of newborns when they cooperate!  Well… Lucy just turned one!  I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her many times along this year-long journey and it’s been a ball!  She is adorable… and her mommy has been hoping for some photos with actual smiles for a long time… and I guess she just wanted to wait until she was one to make them even more special, because we got a lot of smiles!  (Thanks mostly to her daddy!… I can’t take the credit this time).
