I am determined to be caught up with EVERYTHING before October 1st arrives and my official holiday season kicks off! So… if you are waiting for ANYTHING, please send good vibes my way and hope that this happens. My life has been crazy for the past 10 months… some happy things, but a lot of bad things too. I so appreciate all the sweet notes, cards, books, thoughts, prayers, patience, understanding, etc, that all my friends and clients have given to me. There is SO MUCH to be grateful for… and for many of us one of the biggest things is our children. These three kids are obviously the light of their parents lives… and I can’t believe I forgot to feature them on my blog. So… here they are! In Northern Michigan… (i.e. UP NORTH). Have I mentioned that up north is one of my favorite places on earth? ENJOY…

This big guy was only five days old for this session… we were hoping the timing would work out for me to be in town… and it was. He was a doll… loved spending time with him and his sweet parents. Next time I’m in town we’ll have to get his big sister in some shots too! Enjoy!

More baby kisses… {NYC Newborn Photographer}

I got to photograph TWO newborns while in NYC. What are the chances of that? I was only free to take pictures for one day– and both babies were born the week before. Perfect. One was over 9 lbs and one was 6 exactly… this is the 6 pounder… how cute!? Love his little toes. My twins each weighed around 6 lbs, so I loved holding him and remembering when mine were so teeny tiny. Enjoy these… and Harris will be next! :)

I’m totally going out of order as far as my clients are concerned… but I was downloading all the pictures I took while in NYC and had to show you these. Wyatt is adorable. And so are his sisters (although, they didn’t get nearly as much camera time as Wy did). Wyatt is standing– and almost walking (although, he is probably walking now since those photos were taken on Friday)…. How cute is he? I probably said that out loud about 100 times that day. Could just steal him. Ok. Enjoy.

I took this from the window of my moving cab on the way back to the hotel after one of the most emotional weekends of my life… There is some beauty in extreme sadness…
