Enough said. I’ll be on vacation starting…. NOW…. until January 2nd. All calls and emails will be returned the first week of 2012. I hope all of my bloggies have a wonderful time with families and friends. Thank you for making my 2011 photography career so rewarding and special. I love all my clients. This is the inside of one of my favorite cards (and favorite families EVER)… We had done some of the unicorn pictures in the spring… and then Madi’s mommy came up with this Princess and the Pea concept and we knocked out this session in about 15 minutes. Madi has always been my little muse… and I can’t wait for little Harper to be joining their family this spring. Love them all. ENJOY! This card folds like mine did, so the image of her on the unicorn is the first thing you see before you open it (with a flap over it that says Merry Christmas)… and then this is the back (below)! ENJOY!!!
Two of my close friends passed away this year… Two beautiful, young, amazing women. And these are the angels they left behind. I promise to always document their lives and the smiles that are on their faces. I know Christina and Kelly are both smiling down on them as the holidays pass by… and I know how sad it is for everyone who loved them to come to terms with them not being here this year. Anyone who has been following this blog or my facebook feed knows about my friends, Elisa & Nathan Bond. It’s been a hard, horrible year… but just when I thought 2011 was going to end in the same fashion that it began… something happened. Elisa (and I) think that it has to do with the whole entire world (literally) thinking and praying and pulling for this family… but a miracle occurred. And this girl needed a miracle. When the group of Vanderbilt friends would meet or have conference calls about Elisa… it would always end something like this: “There is no way this is happening… Elisa is not going anywhere… We will not accept this.” And guess what? Elisa (and NATHAN) kicked some major Cancer Butt (but she puts it so much better on her blog)… so head on over there and read the good news if you have not already. I forget that not everyone is on Facebook (losers… ha.. just kidding)… so I had to post this here for those who didn’t see all the excitement there the past week! I love Team Bond…. and I love all my friends, clients and fans who have supported her (and myself) this year when things looked so grim. 2011 will definitely still go down as my worst year yet, but at least it ended on a high note.
