These two models are my nieces… again, not by blood… but just about. I was there the day they were born and have a bond with them like they are my own children. Love these girls. They should totally model…. and I really don’t tell everyone that! 
We wanted to do a session that fit their personalities. They are AMAZING — and I do mean AMAZING– swimmers. I found this mesh netting tent with fish and sea creatures on it and knew it would be perfect. Norah plays the guitar… green (her favorite color) guitar shipped to Chicago– check. Nadine plays the piano… of course we had to drag her keyboard out to the beach overlooking the city. I took these photos last fall…. right before it started to get really cold (although… in their bathing suits they were a tad bit chilly)… and I’ve been saving them for my new awesome blog. Then I forgot. Imagine that! I already have in mind what we’ll be doing in a few weeks…. so be ready for Aunt Boo Boo! Love you girls.

Sweet, sweet sadie. This little girl is the daughter of our dear friends, Nathan and Elisa (www.friendsofnathanandelisa.com)… who you have all heard me talk about since February. In case you missed their story somehow, they were both diagnosed with Stage 3 or Stage 4 cancer within 10 days of eachother. They live in New York and are fighting so incredibly hard to overcome their diseases. Sweet Sadie is one of the reasons they are fighting so hard. How adorable is this little doll… her pigtails and her eyes. She speaks THREE (yes, THREE) languages… and could not be any more adorable– and I’m not just saying that because I love her mom and dad. She really is this sweet. When I arrived to their house after spending the last two of five days with Elisa in her most recent stay at NYU, Sadie was overjoyed to see her parents. She wanted nothing but their hugs and kisses for the rest of the night. However, in the morning when both Elisa and Nathan needed a nap, I suggested we go play at the park and she was game. She’s 20 months old and climbed all over the jungle gym like my five year olds. Her joy for life is evident… as it is for her parents. Here are a few of the images I captured for them…. Your photos and videos are wonderful. The music is perfect. I weep each time I see the Standby Me video. I have known Elisa since she was born. Eileen and I have been friends and fellow actors for over 30 years.Elisa was my graduate student so I have very personal feelings about the Bonds. They are very lucky to have such a wonderful friend as you.Please keep in touch.I don't know how I can help other then fund raise which I have done with the Heights Players. I hesitate to call Eileen because I guess that she is overwhelmed. Please give them all my love and tell them that they are always on my mind.

I am so excited to share these pictures… Lily was a week old in these shots. She was so sweet and sleepy most of the time. I had the honor of photographing her big sister, Lucy, since the time she was in her Mommy’s tummy… and now Lily will follow in these footsteps. Lily has a full head of hair and was a nice, plump little thing at almost 9 lbs! Erin… I hope you love them and I’ll send you the rest tonight! ENJOY

This sweet couple recently got engaged. You all know I don’t do weddings (except on very rare and special occasions)… but I’ll do these types of sessions if the couple is up for some creative and fun shots! Here is a series of “vintage-y” pictures. We met out at an awesome ranch (that I may be begging to do photo sessions at sometime soon)… and the weather was not great. We were going to do it at sunset— and the clouds rolled in and blocked most of our sun. We got a ton of great shots, despite the horrible light…. but this series was my favorite! ENJOY!
