Well…. it’s Sunday, so it’s not an official “snow day”…. but we’re staying home and just playing all day!  How nice is that!?

I have not updated my blog since the contest, so I wanted to share a few pictures!  I’ll be updating again soon… but for now— Happy SNOW day— and I know a lot of my readers have snow today!

First, thank you for everyone who voted— and to everyone who rallied behind these photos to get so many votes!!  I loved reading all the sweet contests!  And I love how passionate people are about pictures!

So… I know I swore I wouldn’t do this, but the results were SO CLOSE, I have decided to award two 1st place winners and one second place!  My mom and I just spent over an hour on the phone adding up the votes together and the 1st & 2nd place were within 5 votes of each other…. so….

The two winners of the FULL SESSION with RIGHTS to ALL of the PHOTOS ($1200 VALUE!!!!!!)….. are….

The first session of 2011.  Beautiful winter day…one gorgeous mama, two awesome kids, one happy daddy (at the Rose Bowl) and  one lucky soon-to-be-born baby girl!  She doesn’t have a name yet– but look for her newborn photos soon!  If anyone living in HOUSTON is interested in a photo session, I will be there in mid-February.  Email me!  I would have time for one or two full sessions.

First… THE CONTEST IS OVER!!!  No votes will be counted from this point on!  Thank you to everyone who has participated.  I will be counting the votes this week and will announce the winner by Friday!

Second… how cute is this little guy?  He is not my “typical” newborn (2 weeks or younger)… he was a whopping 6 weeks old, but somehow the session ended up going really well!  His mom and grandma got him to sleep between each change of props… and he was quite peaceful and newborn-ly!  :)  Love what we captured– and hope his beautiful family does too!
