This sweet baby girl was born 8 days ago… she is going to have gorgeous red hair (like her Daddy) and maybe beautiful green eyes (like her Mommy).  Her parents were so laid back for 1st time parents… I was quite impressed (I know I wasn’t that calm when I had mine!)… we did some family shots and then mom & dad chilled out for a few hours relaxing while I played with Bellah.  We got waaaay too many pictures– so I have no idea how they’ll pick what to put on their birth announcement!  Here is a taste of what we got!

My dear, dear friend passed away last week…. my heart is broken for her husband and beautiful children— and for anyone who had the honor and privilege of calling her a friend.  I will miss everything about her…  She loved her children and husband with every ounce of her being.  Heaven has gained a beautiful angel…. rest peacefully, sweet girl.

  • 1 Kelley Loredo: I feel like I just saw this picture posted of them...I don't know if it was Chrismtas or summer - but I just remember thinking that they are such a beautiful family. Twin girl newborns….

These adorable twin girls were born at 37 weeks– and were healthy, regular sized babies.  Had so much fun photographing their entire family!  We aimed to get a great family shot– and ended up getting quite a few…. and then moved on to the four siblings…. got lovely shots and then the twin girls alone… which is when one of them decided she was done sleeping and gave me a run for my money.  But… one awake and one sleeping is often the case with twins– so we just went with it after many attempts to lull her back to sleep.

It was great meeting all of you… and enjoy!

I was going to hold off on updating my blog until my new website launches… but couldn’t resist (hoping it launches next week… so keep checking back!).  These two survived the cold Texas morning and had a quick make-up holiday mini session!  :)  30 minutes is all it took… and we were good to go!  Loved all the shots we got— and hope their mommy does too!
