I have been photographing these boys for as long as I’ve had my business– and I always leave the session laughing and excited about how it went.  This time was no different.  First of all, for the 2nd time their mom let them pick out their own outfits to wear for their Christmas card (or at least that is what they told me!)… how fun is that?  They are 5.  Love that about her.  They were not so thrilled to be taking pictures at first– although, they showed up with what they called “coffee” from Starbucks as an early bribe (pretty sure it was hot chocolate) and seemed to like seeing the awesome, long (and loud)  train pass by and jumping and running and taking some pics in between.  Their mom wasn’t there… so this is the first she gets to see of the pics.  Hope you love, Melissa! 

I’m pretty sure the first two head shots could get them some serious modeling gigs… just a suggestion.    Notice the little mole over their lips… I have never noticed this before, but they are on the exact opposite sides.  Identical twins fascinate me… and they are such adorable boys!!

I have never, ever been this slammed… so thank you to everyone for your patience!  I’m an editing machine (at least at night when the kids are sleeping!)… and am trying to get everyone who had a session prior to this weekend all edited before Thanksgiving vacation!  So… keep checking your in-boxes from an email from me!  I’ll be working on card proofs during the week of Thanksgiving and can have everyone their cards shortly after!  Check my facebook page for more information on that!

Since I have not posted a photo in so long… here is one of Mr. Jackson.  Remember his newborn pics from a few months ago?  He’s much bigger now, but equally as adorable!

This family is so much fun to photograph!  Liam just cracks me up– and even though Lilly is a tough one to crack, I loved getting genuine smiles out of her!  We started off at a place I’ve been taking pictures at for awhile– and it suddenly got popular.  VERY popular… so, we had to leave or face having other photographers in the background of all our shots!  It was a zoo…. guess it is the season for family portraits, right?  But… I knew exactly where I wanted to take them.  So, here is part two of our session.  We did get some awesome shots at the first location, but they were in holiday colors so I’ll save that for their card.  However, I’d be tempted to use these instead!  :)

My sweet nephew came to Dallas for a visit and I got to take some pictures for his holiday card.  He isn’t quite as easy to photograph now that he is on the move!… and on the move he was!  Even in the dirt, leaves and branches– he made his way quickly and with determination!  Eating stuff off the ground as he went!  However, he couldn’t crawl THAT fast… I still got some awesome shots!  :)  (I won’t be sharing a lot  now… need to save some surprises for people’s cards!)  ENJOY:

I went from totally caught up to incredibly NOT caught up… all in about 24 hours…  I took over 4,500 pictures this weekend– and am still slowly downloading them so I can sort through them and start editing!  However, while my computer is busy doing that… I’ll post some from a little girl you all know well.  Lucy.  Cute as ever– and so happy that it is almost Christmas!
