These two angels are about to turn FOUR…. and I’ve known them since they were in their Mama’s tummy and we met in a “Getting Ready for Twins” class.  Their Mommy is a nurse, so I knew she knew what she was doing… but my husband and I, on the other hand, were CLUELESS!  Anyway, we’ve been good friends ever since… and her sweet “babies” are so much fun to photograph… and really so gentle and lovely– just like their parents.  I think I said most of this last time… but Stephanie (their mommy) has been one of my biggest “fans” and encouragers since I started this photography business.  She never fails to comment on my blog posts and sends me emails all the time that make me smile.  I know I don’t tell her enough how much I appreciate it– so I’ll do it here… THANK YOU STEF!  Love you, girl.

  • 1 Stephanie: Thank YOU Betsy for never failing to provide us with such beautiful lasting memories of our babies. You have taken so many fabulous images of G&M that I always have such a difficult time making choices....this session is no exception. Thank you for bringing out the best in my two and for capturing that moment in time for our forever memories. And thank you for being as good of a friend as you are a photographer....another thing I will forever cherish. xoxo (06.04.10, 05:19PM)
  • 2 Sarah T: Their mommy is the BEST nurse and took great care of me in January when I had my little munchkin... :) (07.04.10, 02:25PM)
  • 3 Jennie: These two always take the sweetest pictures! They're just adorable! Great work Bets! (And I love your bluebonnets photo w/ E & R!) (08.04.10, 10:21PM)

Happy Easter to those of you celebrating… here is cute little Lucy (who many of you will remember from prior sessions) all dressed up in her Easter best (and a few other outfits too)!  We had a fun session this time at the Arboretum… and she was as good as usual… took a bit to crack some smiles, but she looks so sweet even when she isn’t smiling!  She got a ton of “oooh… look at that cute baby” comments during our session… which is always fun!

These two are frequently on my blog– and people are always asking me if I enhance the color of their beautiful blue eyes… no, I don’t.  They are gorgeous.  I want them.  Have always wanted blue eyes… Anyway, I’ve known them since they were only a few months old and they have gotten cuter and cuter with each session.  This shoot was not really what they wanted to be doing that day– but we made it work anyway!  :)  The setting was so beautiful– just needed to convince them that it would be quicker if they looked my way every once in awhile.  Sometimes it is harder to take pictures of kids who know you well– and know all your tricks!  Luckily, their mommy and I didn’t give up… and we won!  :)
