What a colorful Halloween!!

Just had to put one of the family (including my parents) from tonight.  We set up the tripod and took this shot before we headed out for a big neighborhood bash and then some trick-or-treating.  My kids won the costume contest for their age group!  :)  So… I guess all the work was worth it!? And tomorrow… I’ll put up pictures of their very colorful Halloween costumes!  :)  I went a tad overboard this year– and it took me about 10 hours too long to make!  :)

I have finally finished putting together all of my holiday card options.  If you are having holiday photos taken with me and are going to need cards, please go to my website and under “client proofs” type the password “Christmas” to see them all.  Most colors, fonts, words, layouts can be modified slightly.  Here are some new favorites (just showing front of cards):

Favorite new spot…

I had mini-sessions this past weekend in a new spot.  A friend of mine (thanks, Donna!) sent me a few of her favorite places to take pictures, so I checked this one out and loved it.  I might be changing my last holiday mini-session to this location as well because it was so much easier than the canals in Las Colinas— plus, there were not tons of people to try to get away from (including other photographers).

So… we had a perfect day just before the rain clouds rolled in– and some of these are new favorites.  One of the moms who I had done pictures for last year said, “What a difference a year makes”… and that was true for a lot of these kids!  SO much easier.  Maybe it is their age– or maybe know me now and are not afraid of my camera…. regardless, it was a blast!  (This may take a long time to load because I put up so many images at once!)
