It’s pretty cool to have your birthday on the 4th of July— especially when you are a child and your parents tell you the fireworks are for you (RIGHT, Dad??)…. We are a family of holidays– his on the 4th, my sister’s on April Fool’s Day, mine on St. Patrick’s Day (another FUN one) and then my mom screwed up and was born a few hours before Valentine’s Day!  

Anyway… Ella & Ryan wanted to wish their Papa a Happy 4th of July Birthday since we can’t be with you today!  (See video below)  (Having difficulties getting video up… check back a little later!)

This little one was a little angel.  Maybe it was because her parents were probably the most laid back first-time parents I have ever been around!  She slept, ate a little, was quietly and happily awake for some… and made my job super easy.  Plus, she was one big newborn, so she didn’t really look like a newborn– just acted like one.  Perfection.   Can’t wait to see how this beauty grows!
