And he was perfect. He did not want to miss any of the action, so it took a long time to get him to sleep– but we prevailed. His Mama was the fascinating one– she looked like a million bucks. Already lost ALL of the baby weight, plus some– how insane is that? I thought only celebrities did that! :) Congrats to the beautiful new family! You’ll be seeing the little man again with my “Grow with Me” Package… next time we’ll get the dogs in some! :)

And WOW is she cute!! (You’ll remember her beautiful Mama from maternity pictures– and my favorite one of her in the bluebonnets just about to pop!) Madi was SIX days old in these pictures– and a true angel. We moved her around about every two minutes, but she would just whimper a little bit and go back to sleep. She’ll appreciate the pictures someday! :) And… for anyone who might be getting a birth announcement from Madi’s parents– don’t worry, I am not showing the pictures they are using. Although, her Mommy did have a hard time deciding! :)
Congrats to Kathryn & Brad. You made a beautiful baby!

But, thanks for the great response and interest in sessions there. I’ll start the day they bloom next year to fit everyone in! :)
However, before they were washed away by all this wind and rain we captured these…
(PS: REMEMBER– Any orders you want for MOTHER’S DAY GIFTS have to be placed by THIS Thursday. Thanks!!!)

I can’t believe my babies were born three years ago today. I know it is cliche– but it feels like it was just yesterday. I remember almost every single thing that happened that day… and the days leading up to their delivery. We waited SO long for them…and then when they were born they were perfect. Even at 35 weeks… they were perfect. They went home with us two days later… and have amazed us over and over again ever since.
I love you Ryan & Ella… and I can’t wait to see what your bright futures hold.

(This picture was taken by my father in the hospital… it’s one of my favorites):
And one from today… three years later:
