I had an amazing time with this family… and couldn’t wait to share a few from their session. The boys were so well behaved– even though the youngest was missing his morning nap. Such an incredibly sweet family– who found me through a dear friend of mine in Dallas. So happy to meet you all and to spend the morning together. I hope you are enjoying your vacation! Give Kelly and Riley a big birthday kiss from us.

These three little dolls are daughters of the creators of “Two Little Lovelies“…. They were all together this week on vacation and asked if we could throw something together last minute. Of course I could! We brainstormed a few ideas and they came up with this amazing scrap material banner thingy… 
They brought their husbands to help hold it (stellar job, men)… and they MADE everything the girls were wearing. Really? Who is this creative and awesome? Loved it all… and I am assuming they are going to be adding CLOTHING to their repertoire. They already make the most amazing clippies and headbands and room decor and… and.. and… the list goes on and on. So make sure you check out their website and “like” them on facebook. These two little boys have a TON of energy… even at 8pm on a long, hot, summer day. Their new little sister won’t know what has hit her when she enters this world! And what a lucky little girl she will be… two adoring older brothers and some pretty awesome parents. Loved this session in the sunflowers…. and I went back last night to meet another client there and they had been plowed down. Such a bummer! There is always next year (or… I’ll find some in Michigan to photograph my own kids in!). Speaking of Michigan… still have not picked a date for photos because our plans are still in the works for what we are doing while on “vacation!”…. stay tuned!

Yes… You read it right. I’m coming to Chicago in three weeks and will be doing a few sessions while I’m there. I have a few timeslots left, so please email me if you are interested: betsy@betsymariephotography.com
These two models are my nieces… again, not by blood… but just about. I was there the day they were born and have a bond with them like they are my own children. Love these girls. They should totally model…. and I really don’t tell everyone that! We wanted to do a session that fit their personalities. They are AMAZING — and I do mean AMAZING– swimmers. I found this mesh netting tent with fish and sea creatures on it and knew it would be perfect. Norah plays the guitar… green (her favorite color) guitar shipped to Chicago– check. Nadine plays the piano… of course we had to drag her keyboard out to the beach overlooking the city. I took these photos last fall…. right before it started to get really cold (although… in their bathing suits they were a tad bit chilly)… and I’ve been saving them for my new awesome blog. Then I forgot. Imagine that! I already have in mind what we’ll be doing in a few weeks…. so be ready for Aunt Boo Boo! Love you girls.
