My sweet Ella-Bella… She wanted to do a session with me without her brother– and shockingly, Ryan didn’t mind! 
So… off we went an hour before sunset to see what we could get. Unfortunately, the balloon popped about two minutes into our shoot, which made her very sad…. but we recovered quickly and got some of my favorite shots of her. She really is a lover… and such an empathetic and thoughtful little six year old. ENJOY:

I wanted to offer some of regular clients something a little different this year for the holidays– so I rented a loft space in Dallas. The place was so super cool with amazing light from tons of windows and a really grungy feel to it. Everyone who came fell in love with the images… so here are some I wanted to share. The bright colors on the kids showed off so well with the white walls and grey floors. I’ll be offering this again next year too– so let me know if you are interested! (I also did my cards here… which I’ll share next!) ENOY!

Since things are a bit slower (phew!) and I can catch up a little bit on blogging… I thought I’d just add a bunch of my favorite shots from October & November. We took to the streets of Chicago for this fun photo session. These girls are like family to me… their mommy, Farah, (aka Farf) is my very best friend. I’ve known them since 5 minutes after they were born and think they are two of the most amazing children I’ve ever met…. so here are their photos. I had to wait and wait and wait to share them because (for once) Farah wanted to keep them a secret until her cards were sent out (New Year’s Cards)… I think it took every bone in her body to do that…but it was worth it when everyone was so surprised and loved the cards! ENJOY
