Anyone who has been following this blog or my facebook feed knows about my friends, Elisa & Nathan Bond. It’s been a hard, horrible year… but just when I thought 2011 was going to end in the same fashion that it began… something happened. Elisa (and I) think that it has to do with the whole entire world (literally) thinking and praying and pulling for this family… but a miracle occurred. And this girl needed a miracle. When the group of Vanderbilt friends would meet or have conference calls about Elisa… it would always end something like this: “There is no way this is happening… Elisa is not going anywhere… We will not accept this.” And guess what? Elisa (and NATHAN) kicked some major Cancer Butt (but she puts it so much better on her blog)… so head on over there and read the good news if you have not already. I forget that not everyone is on Facebook (losers… ha.. just kidding)… so I had to post this here for those who didn’t see all the excitement there the past week! I love Team Bond…. and I love all my friends, clients and fans who have supported her (and myself) this year when things looked so grim. 2011 will definitely still go down as my worst year yet, but at least it ended on a high note. This is my sister-in-law and her adorable family… Their cards turned out so incredibly cute this year. Love that little Austin– and can’t wait to meet his little brother next year! ENJOY: (inside)
I never blogged this group… and the reason that is is because they are family. Family usually gets put on the bottom of all editing lists… and they are always patient and understanding. It makes me so happy when I am caught up enough to edit them… and now I need to share. Such a fun day on the lake in… uh mmmmm… July.

As the cards are delivered to their recipients…I will be putting them on my blog. I didn’t do quite as many cards this year since so many people decided to buy the “rights”, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t busy!! I think I am about two hours from being CAUGHT UP! I have a handful of sessions the next two weeks… and then lots of special newborns being born the first part of 2012. The card above turned out adorable. Here is the back:
