I loved photographing this sweet family– and can’t wait to meet their little baby boy when he comes in a month. This is definitely one of my favorite maternity shoots to date… everything about them was so natural and genuine. What lucky kids to have such amazing parents. ENJOY!
We did a two year session and a three month session combined into one really fun session. It was very windy that day… hot and windy. But we found some less-windy spots and got some great shots. Do you remember Lily from her newborn pics three months ago? Do you think she has grown!!???

I am determined to be caught up with EVERYTHING before October 1st arrives and my official holiday season kicks off! So… if you are waiting for ANYTHING, please send good vibes my way and hope that this happens. My life has been crazy for the past 10 months… some happy things, but a lot of bad things too. I so appreciate all the sweet notes, cards, books, thoughts, prayers, patience, understanding, etc, that all my friends and clients have given to me. There is SO MUCH to be grateful for… and for many of us one of the biggest things is our children. These three kids are obviously the light of their parents lives… and I can’t believe I forgot to feature them on my blog. So… here they are! In Northern Michigan… (i.e. UP NORTH). Have I mentioned that up north is one of my favorite places on earth? ENJOY…
This big guy was only five days old for this session… we were hoping the timing would work out for me to be in town… and it was. He was a doll… loved spending time with him and his sweet parents. Next time I’m in town we’ll have to get his big sister in some shots too! Enjoy!
