Welcome to my
Blogsite!

I hope you love it as much as I do! This will be your one-stop-shop for everything Betsy Marie! All the galleries are at the top and all the new blog posts are below! I hope this will make coming here an easier and more fun experience! I have lots of fun new stuff in the works! This was a long time coming!

What can I say about my new nephew, Charlie? He is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E…. and just the sweetest little thing at over 3 weeks old. He was a baby we have all waited a long time for… so I was so happy to fly to NYC to photograph him in this early, cuddly, lovey-dovey stage. He was WIDE awake when we first started (but unlike many newborns) he made awesome eye contact with my camera and was content to be on my soft blanket just looking around. Then he was fed… and he didn’t wake up again for about 3 hours (Long after the photos stopped!). I have three new nieces/nephews in three months… and then a few more babies being born that I will love forever too– so this will be a fun start to 2012! ENJOY—and remember to pin and like any of these photos that you LOVE!

Yes. Miracles do happen. . . and Elisa & Nathan are proof. Elisa said it best in her card. I’m just so happy I could be there so often to photograph as much of this year for them as I could. I’m heading back up in three weeks… and can’t wait to see them and celebrate together. XOXO. Love you all. Enjoy.

Two of my close friends passed away this year… Two beautiful, young, amazing women. And these are the angels they left behind.  I promise to always document their lives and the smiles that are on their faces. I know Christina and Kelly are both smiling down on them as the holidays pass by… and I know how sad it is for everyone who loved them to come to terms with them not being here this year. Miss you both. A lot. XOXO:

  • 1 stephanie f: Beautiful images...Kelly and Christina would be proud. So sad these sweet kids lost their mothers way too soon. My heart aches for them. (16.12.11, 08:16PM)

Anyone who has been following this blog or my facebook feed knows about my friends, Elisa & Nathan Bond. It’s been a hard, horrible year… but just when I thought 2011 was going to end in the same fashion that it began… something happened. Elisa (and I) think that it has to do with the whole entire world (literally) thinking and praying and pulling for this family… but a miracle occurred. And this girl needed a miracle. When the group of Vanderbilt friends would meet or have conference calls about Elisa… it would always end something like this: “There is no way this is happening… Elisa is not going anywhere… We will not accept this.” And guess what? Elisa (and NATHAN) kicked some major Cancer Butt (but she puts it so much better on her blog)… so head on over there and read the good news if you have not already. I forget that not everyone is on Facebook (losers… ha.. just kidding)… so I had to post this here for those who didn’t see all the excitement there the past week!  I love Team Bond…. and I love all my friends, clients and fans who have supported her (and myself) this year when things looked so grim. 2011 will definitely still go down as my worst year yet, but at least it ended on a high note. XOXO ENJOY!!!
