Chicago is.

And Ella LOVES the big city.  I have been wanting to photograph her alone in this outfit for a few months… but just have not had the time.  Aunt Kiki took Ry for 20 minutes so I could take Ella around the block… and this is some of what we got.  I have 50 of these shots in my favorites folder, so it was quite a success!

Anyone who has had a photo session with me knows that I never say that– and highly encourage parents not to say it either (unless you like those horrible fake smiles that follow that word!)  :)   So…. I thought this shirt was too funny– and had to get it for my Ry-guy.   My twins take their pretend cameras EVERYWHERE… and take “pictures” of everything and everyone.  They often use my “tricks” to try to get me to look at their camera– which totally cracks me up.  These three pictures were taken while we were waiting for our lunch at a local hamburger joint…. lighting wasn’t great for the rocking chair shots, but I couldn’t resist.  He was taking a picture of me while I was taking a picture of him.  Might have to frame it!!

I’ve had a few sessions in the bluebonnets this week…. they are short and sweet– but get some great results.  If you are interested in a quick little bluebonnet session email me or call me SOON.  They are not in season long.  I’ll post a few of my two from yesterday and then tomorrow I’ll have more to show you!  Spring in Texas is so pretty… just wish it lasted a little longer!  (By the way— Ry was much more interested in throwing rocks and picking flowers… and Ella wanted to go find her Daddy… but I love what I got anyway!)
