It is such a privilege to be present for the birth of a baby– and to get to photograph all the amazing memories for the parents is such a cool gig! Miss Emma was born a week ago today… she is gorgeous (just like her mama). Here are a few from that incredible day! If you are interested in birth photography… email me! It is such an honor to be asked to photograph the birth of someone’s child… especially their first. The parents are so nervous and excited and have so many questions about what is going to happen… and to know they don’t have to worry about taking any photos the entire time to document the process is such a relief to them. So… I photographed the arrival of little Juliana yesterday morning. She was born via c-section… and came out with a full set of well developed lungs! She’s gorgeous (look at those lips and those eyelashes!)…. and she has hair. Always makes me jealous since mine had none. Congrats to Geraldine & Rafael! ENJOY!

Well… Hello there! I have totally neglected the blog– but for good reason! First, I was in Florida with my family for two weeks (pictures soon) and then when I returned the bluebonnets were in full bloom– so I had about a zillion sessions in those beautiful flowers… and have not had time to do much of anything else. If you follow me on Facebook (… and if you don’t.. then you should)… you have seen most of these photos. Have had some amazing sunsets with some beautiful people! I wish I could give you some new ones on the blog, but for now this will have to do! More soon! ENJOY!
