Driving from one town to another in Northern Michigan, we spotted these sunflowers down a country road. After finding a path to them, we dragged the kids from the car and walked about a mile to get there, but it was worth it…. It was HIGH noon– as in 12:01 when we arrived (so not ideal lighting situation), but I could not pass them by without stopping… so here are my two country-bumpkins enjoying the flowers (and bees, and mosquitos, and possibly poison ivy!) :) As you’ll see… one of my “models” was avoiding the camera at all costs… but luckily Ry humored me!

- 1 Stephanie: Betsy, I am running out of words to describe your work! As always, simply beautiful. I LOVE the one of Ryan and Ella where he seems to be showing her the merits of a sunflower and she doesn't seem to be buying it. Wonderful!!!! (22.08.09, 07:51PM)
